How come I keep taking grainy photographs?
It seems that most of my photos turn out completely grainy, I have a good camera (Canon D1) and only have the ISO set to 100 – 250.

I don’t understand why any of my photos don’t come out really sharp??
What am I doing wrong?
I don’t have photoshop to edit my photos, so I convert them to JEPG files instead of keeping them RAW, I do tiny bits of editing on Paintshop but nothing mega.
Even the sharp ones are that sharp. I have no idea what to do. =S
(It also happens even when I use a flash on a tripod.)
Help??
I normally use a 50mm lens. My Zoom Lens is a 73-300mm lens. My macro lens is a 150mm lens. Then I have my Wide Angle I think that’s 10-20mm.

Well grain has to do with the ISO, usually at 800+ iso you can see grain.
If you photo’s are not in focus (crisp) your shutter speed may be too low or your aperture is too shallow (1.4 – 2.8)
Also, reset all custom functions on your camera, that can be causing it.
