What is the best settings for a Sony Cybershot Dsc-V1 & other questions?

I recently found my old camera with messed up settings.
And I lost the user manual to it.
Its a Sony Cybershot DSC-V1.

Other questions
What does M, A, S, P, SCN mean on the turning thing?
Which is the best image size for the most pictures out of 1.2M, 3.1M, 4.5M, 5M?

I am surprised you could not figure out which was the best image size It is just math.

M = manual
A = aperture priority
S = shutter priority
P = program
