Canon Powershot sd750 vs 870?
So i’m looking at getting a new camera and i KNOW i want a Canon Powershot. I just don’t know whether or not to go with the 7 megapixle sd750 which i know has great reviews, or pay more for the sd870 with 8 megapixles and image stabilization. Is it really worth paying more for the 870?
Image stabilization is the real deal. The SD750 is also probably a closeout item by now, which isn’t a bad thing, but you just ought to know it’s been around for a while.
Personally, in this type of camrea, I’d consider the SD850IS over the SD870IS. It’s just a little bit cheaper, but it has a bit more reach on the tele end, which I consider to be a lot more useful than the very slightly more Wide Angle that the SD870IS offers. Not mention… The SD850IS has an optical viewfinder, which can save your butt sometimes.
