Canon Lide 70

I have a Canon scanner (model LiDE 70)…?

and I am trying to scan swatches of fabrics, but the color won’t come close to matching the actual fabric color. The res. is good, but the color sucks. I tried scanning it through photoshop and image cpture (MAC os) and have the ssame problem. Is there any way I can adjust color settings or anything to get a more accurate color scan. Thank you in advance for your help.

Use Photoshop to alter the color until it looks right.
